So much for posting every day … a week goes by with nada. Not that I haven’t been inundated with cuteness here at LOTL:
We had a little lesson in pug tongue a few days ago:

I took a few months off from dog training to focus on launching LOTL. Well, that’s not exactly true … I still gave plenty of over-the-counter advice, fitted a few dozen no-pull harnesses and gave impromptu leash walking lessons on many a Saturday morning.
Now I’m back to training training, though, and my new clients are dreamy. I see sweet Addie on Saturday mornings at her house before I open the shop:

Lucy the pretty pitt-y made my day on Sunday morning.
We had a lesson in the store before I opened. We worked on some clicker basics, then headed outside to tackle leash walking in the freezing cold. She did a fantastic job, and earned every minute of her post-lesson frolic:
It pays to be a regular at LOTL. Sometimes you get to be a treat tester, like my friend Daisy:
She stopped by the day my shipment of “Yak Crack” arrived, so of course she got to try the very first one out of the box.
She likes it! Hey Mikey!
Her person reported back that the fabulous preservative-free “bone” kept Daisy busy for a stunning 55 minutes, a previously unheard of feat.

“What? You want me to pose? What does that mean?”
“So I should look at that flashing thing right there?”
“Now I understand. Head tilt? Check. Sweet, slightly helpless look? Check. Complete world domination?”

Yeah, yeah, I know. I’m late. And I didn’t get around to my traditional holiday themed Summie extravaganza. (To his delight, I’m sure.) The last few weeks of December were pretty nutso, and then there’s my time management problem. (Perez Hilton is callliinng meeee!)
Anyway. I was scrolling through my massive photo files and I realized that I’ve missed a ton of cuteness! How did I take this photo and not post it?!

I still need to write about my friend from Oz named Bailey, and a Golden pup so cute your head will ’splode. Maybe one of my resolutions should be to post every day, like I used to in the good ole’ days?
