Dogs Welcome

I used to have a little sign in a flower pot outside our front door that said “Dogs Welcome.” I had to set it out every morning, then drag it back in at the end of the day. It got peed on. Frequently. The plant died when the weather turned (I’m sure the non-stop marking hastened its demise), so I started using some fake-y grass in a vase. It fell over repeatedly, and looked blech.

I wanted a permanent way to let people know that Fido was allowed to come in and shop too. Something … awesome. I think I found it:

Super adorable, yes?

Many thanks to Andrew out in Seattle for his creativity!

(The water bowl right below the sign froze in a mere 3 hours yesterday! The toy is standing on top of the ice. It’s flippin’ cold out there!)

AWESOME SIGN! Try a heated water bowl…they are great and not too pricy. We’ve found them to be very useful in our chilly Canadian climate.

I would, but don’t they need an outlet? I need to look into that.
