Lil Romeo

This showed up in my mailbox last week:

A day later, super-perfect Romeo showed up at Life on the Leash, as if sent by the magazine folks:

Puppy Class!

We had our first puppy socialization class in the store last Saturday.

Though the puppies all looked like they were cut from the same fluff at the stuffed animal factory, we had a variety of temperaments in the group. Max and Lucy were feeling rather … ascendant that day, so they gave fellow students Zoey and Lilly the business for the first half of class. Was it play, or puppified torture?

Things changed when we came back from a potty break … young Lilly decided she was ready to school Lucy:

Yes, puppy play group is great for building social skills, but here’s another benefit:
