Choosy Mothers

My Mom rocks.

That big order I kept mentioning? Not only was it big, it was confusing. (Those distributor packing lists are written in another language. “CAN ALS 35#”? Huh?) My dear Mom swooped in to help me make sense of the overwhelming shipment, keeping me on track when all I wanted to do was walk in circles and say things like, “The store looks good, right? People are going to like it, right?”

She helped me price:

And get crafty:

And clean up:

The woman was tireless.

Mom – thanks for being a cleaning lady, a stockist, a merchandiser, a marketer and a cheerleader!

We only get to see Mom from the knees down?

Your mom definitely rocks. But that’s not surprising — you rock, too.

You only get to see pretty much *everyone* on LOTL from the knees down … otherwise people will say “Oh, my hair looks terrible, don’t take a picture.” The knees-down approach buys me some photographic freedom!

And no, Susan, YOU rock! First brain surgery, then 4 months later your car gets totaled … and still you smile.

Isn’t it great that no matter how old we get, or how tempting it can be for us to just walk around in overwhelmed circles our moms can always pull us back? My mom would say “clicka clicka” to your mom and give her the secret mother head-nod
