Winnie the Pooch

I’m always excited to meet my new canine clients, but I was particularly excited to meet young Winnie because …

She’s an Old English Sheepdog puppy!

I haven’t worked with one in at least five years. They’re not common around here, although Storm’s people are bringing home an OES in a few weeks. (Trending, anyone?)

Winnie is a traffic-stopper – literally. People can’t help but ask about this gorgeous little puffball:

Winnie rocked lesson #1, and still had enough energy at the end of our session to enjoy a Flat Cat:

(New Flat Cat color coming soon!)

GAH! The Baroo? pic is too cute. So THAT’S what an OES’s eyes look like! Hahahaha

She’s very cute (and so is Storm!) — will her eyes stay that blue, or is that just puppy blue eyes that will turn darker? Wasn’t the Shaggy D.A. an OES?

Yes, her eyes will stay blue. OES usually have brown eyes, a few have blue eyes, and a smaller number have one brown and one blue eye.
And, yes, the Shaggy D.A. and the Shaggy Dog (from long ago) were Old English Sheepies.
