Life on the Leash

I accidentally freaked out my new client Snoopy the 17-week old Yorkie-poo this morning.

I broke out my trusty Flat Cat to keep Snoopy entertained while I went over some training specifics with his person and he was petrified of it!

Every time I made it move he ran for cover. I tried keeping it stationary and letting him take a sniff, but he wasn’t having it.

We worked on the recall a short time after the Flat Cat debacle and the guy wouldn’t even approach me when I called!

I even made sure to bring the small dog-friendly Petit chat plat for him instead of the big dog version.

“Flat Cats scare me,” Snoopy told me before I left. “Bring me a fuzzy mousie from your store next time and we’ll talk.”
